The LPN will provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring patient health, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality care. The LPN will also communicate with patients and their families to ensure they understand care plans and procedures. Qualifications Current and valid LPN licensure in the state of LouisianaStrong clinical skills, including patient care, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare team members and interacting with patients and familiesFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) and ability to maintain accurate documentationKnowledge of infection control procedures and best practices in long-term careAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detailCompassion, patience, and a commitment to providing quality care to residentsPrevious experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plusBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
