Why Join Us?Competitive Pay & Incentives$32$43/hour (based on experience)Shift Differentials: +$3/hr Nights | +$2/hr Weekends$12,000 Sign-On Bonus (2-year commitment)Relocation Assistance available case-by-caseComprehensive BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off & family leaveTuition reimbursementProfessional growth & advancement opportunitiesUnit Details36-Bed Cardiac Telemetry UnitNurse-to-Patient Ratios: Days: 45:1Nights: 56:1Common patient conditions: Chest pain, stroke/TIA, COPD, GI, post-operative, arrhythmias, drips, and accelerated heart rhythms.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, assess, and provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry.Interpret ECGs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.Deliver safe, evidence-based care for patients 16+ requiring cardiac step-down support.Apply strong clinical judgment in emergency and high-acuity situations.Promote patient safety by identifying and mitigating risks.Collaborate with physicians, team members, and leadership to support high-quality outcomes.QualificationsExperience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience requiredEducation: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing programLicensure: Active Missouri RN license or Multistate Compact RN licenseCertifications: BLS required upon hireACLS required within 1 year of hireAbout Independence, MOThis role is based at a trusted acute care hospital that serves the Greater Kansas City area.
