Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary First Step Staffing is hiring dependable *Material Handlers* to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. In this position, you will receive, sort, move, store, and prepare materials for shipment while using *RF scanners and warehouse equipment* to accurately track inventory. This is a great opportunity for someone with *warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience* who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team. Job Duties * Load, unload, move, sort, and store materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and warehouse locations. * Pick and prepare orders for shipment, including labeling boxes and pallets and wrapping pallets with stretch wrap. * Sort and place materials in the correct warehouse locations based on item numbers and inventory requirements. * Use *RF scanners/RF equipment* to track products and maintain accurate inventory movement. * Identify damaged, missing, or surplus materials while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Requirements * Ability to *lift up to 50 pounds* throughout the workday. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and perform physical warehouse work. * Ability to work in a *fast-paced warehouse environment* and follow verbal and written instructions. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. * Previous *warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience* preferred.
