Front of House Manager

The primary goal of the Front of House Manager at Marker 88 is to achieve the highest level of guest experience through efficient and effective service, premium product distribution and by providing a comfortable atmosphere, while simultaneously producing sustainable and consistent profit margins. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Promote a positive and comfortable work environment for the team Oversee all opening and closing duties to ensure completeness, when performing opening or closing management duties Monitor the dining floor and beach areas during service to ensure superior guest experience, assisting servers and bartenders when needed Assistance in recruiting, hiring, training and developing hourly staff members Establishing individual and team goals then facilitating through to completion Ensuring company core values are at the heart of the business Utilization of back office tools (Excel, Compeat, Sling, OpenTable Reservations, Aloha, Etc.) Cash controls Retail and inventory management Maintaining the highest quality of service standards with respect to guest dining Support the Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager & GM with various assigned tasks and duties Ensures company safety standards are strictly followed Promote thorough communications with all team members Busperson and Host Desk workgroup management, staffing, and leadership Attendance for all manager and assigned operational meetings Conduct Pre-Shift Meetings, when performing shift manager duties Conduct departmental meetings with assistance of General Manager and or Assistant Managers QUALIFICATIONS : ServSafe Food Manager Certification  Minimum 5-years food and beverage experience in FOH  Preferred minimum 2-years prior management experience COMPETITIVE BENEFITS More detail about Marker 88, please visit
