Math Instructor/Tutor (Part-Time) – Schererville & Crown Point Locations: Mathnasium of Crossroads – Schererville, IN Mathnasium of Crown Point – Opening August 2026 Pay: $15–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Do you love working with kids and have a passion for math? Mathnasium is growing, and we're looking for energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic instructors to join our team! We are currently hiring for our established Schererville center and our exciting new Crown Point location opening this August. At Mathnasium, we're committed to teaching children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Our instructors provide individualized instruction using the Mathnasium Method™, helping students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve academic success in a fun and supportive environment. What You'll Do Teach students in grades K–12 using the Mathnasium curriculum and instructional techniques. Provide positive encouragement and build meaningful relationships with students and families, Assess student understanding and guide them through personalized learning plans. Maintain a welcoming, engaging, and productive learning environment. Collaborate with fellow instructors and center leadership to ensure each student has an exceptional experience. Celebrate student achievements and help make math a positive experience. What We're Looking For Strong math skills through Algebra II and Geometry (higher-level math knowledge is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Ability to work well as part of a team. Previous tutoring, teaching, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Schedule Part-time hours available, including after-school, evening, and Saturday shifts.
