Title: Data Architect - Snowflake / Fivetran / DBTType: Contract to Hire Location: Remote - based out of NYCVisa: Must be a USC or GC Holder, no C2C Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the IT Financial space, is seeking a Data Architect to join their team. The Data Architect defines data models, integration patterns, governance alignment, and information flow across solutions and platforms. This impactful role will be critical in ensuring data is structured and connected in a way that supports reliable operations, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.What You’ll Do:Data DesignDefine conceptual and logical data models for platforms, integrations, and analytics use casesSet standards for data flow, master data handling, metadata, and integration designPartner with Product and Engineering to ensure data structures support operational and analytical needsGovernance & IntegrationAlign application and platform designs to data governance requirements and enterprise standardsEstablish patterns for data quality, lineage, access, and stewardship across critical workflowsSupport data architecture decisions related to reporting, AI use cases, and system interoperabilityEnablement & ImprovementReview data-heavy solution designs and identify risks earlyDocument and evolve target-state data architecture principleHelp teams improve how they design for reusability, quality, and cross-platform consistencyYou Have:8+ years of data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data design experience – you are a disciplined architect who values clarity, lineage, and qualityStrong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, APIs, and data governance conceptsExperience supporting operational systems as well as reporting and analytics use cases and comfortability connecting operational systems to broader information strategyCommitment to focusing on data as an enterprise asset rather than a project byproductAbility to work across technical and business stakeholders while remaining analytical, pragmatic, and highly collaborativeBachelor's degree required
