Responsible for all aspects of professional food service and guest satisfaction. Essential functions:Must be willing and able to: Effectively service a 6 table station Accurately account for and balance all sales and receiptsCommunicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register systemPresent and encourage current promotional information and materials to guestAccurately account for all guest checks issuedAccurately record and account for all items ordered and servedAccurately accept payment from guestNotify guest of any automatic gratuityPerform calmly and effectively under pressureCommunicate with guest clearly, patiently, courteously and with good humorPerform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure RequirementsQualification standards:Must provide a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or the equivalentMenu and specials Wine listLiquor list and special drinksAccounting proceduresLayout of restaurant including table numbers and station numbersIndividual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies Must be willing and able to: Meet personal schedule requirements punctuallyBe courteous, pleasant and good naturedRespond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesyAccept constructive criticism Get along with co-workersProvide a clean, well manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurantStand and walk for an entire shiftSafely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surfaceTransport food to service a party of 4 in a single tripTransport food and beverage items from source to any guest table continually throughout a shiftSafely move about in all areas of the restaurantWork nights, weekends and holidays Applicants should have prior experience in a full service restaurant.
