The ideal candidate will take ownership of deliverables, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive regulatory and audit-related initiatives.Key Responsibilities✅ Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications supporting compliance and surveillance functions.✅ Develop robust data processing pipelines using Python, PySpark, Spark, and Hadoop for large-scale batch and streaming datasets.✅ Own and deliver assigned user stories through monthly release cycles, ensuring high-quality outcomes.✅ Build and enhance solutions supporting audit findings, regulatory initiatives, and surveillance controls.✅ Develop and consume REST APIs and contribute to ReactJS/full-stack application development.✅ Analyze complex financial and surveillance datasets to support monitoring, risk management, and compliance use cases.✅ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & Experience✔ 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in object-oriented programming.✔ Strong production-level experience with Python development.✔ 3+ years of experience in:Apache Spark / PySparkHadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive)Distributed data processing and large-scale data pipelines✔ Experience supporting Front Office applications within Banking or Financial Services.✔ Strong expertise in:REST API DevelopmentReactJS / Full-Stack DevelopmentRelational & Object Databases✔ Experience analyzing complex domain-specific datasets as a developer or quantitative researcher.
