Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist at The Eye Doctor Unlimited in College Park, Georgia. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage eye diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, and offer individualized treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on eye health, coordinating with ophthalmologists or other healthcare providers as needed, and ensuring the highest standard of care. The Optometrist will play a vital role in promoting the well-being of patients and supporting the overall mission of the practice. Qualifications Expertise in conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing a variety of eye conditions, and prescribing corrective eyewear.Proficiency in patient education, including explaining treatment plans, providing eye care counseling, and delivering exceptional patient service.Strong skills in communication, detail orientation, and maintaining accurate records of patient diagnoses, treatments, and progress.Ability to use diagnostic instruments and equipment effectively and with precision.Knowledge of billing systems, insurance policies, and healthcare compliance standards is beneficial.Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution and an active optometric license in the state of Georgia.Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and working collaboratively with a healthcare team.Prior experience in optometry practice is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
