Oracle DBA
Overview
In this role, you will support Oracle on a Sun Solaris platform, maintaining production databases and ensuring reliability. You’ll implement and test disaster recovery plans and collaborate with clients and contractors to resolve complex technical issues. Your work will involve monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing database performance while aligning with development lifecycle processes. ResponsibilitiesSupport Oracle databases in a Sun Solaris environmentManage Oracle Replication and production system reliabilityDevelop, test, and execute Disaster Recovery PlansTroubleshoot and diagnose complex database issuesPossibly support JBOSS or Red Hat application serverCommunicate technical concepts to on-site clients and non-technical stakeholdersWork with cross-functional teams and adhere to the application development lifecycleUtilize common office software for documentation and collaboration
