Retail Associate (Part-Time) Watercolor Kids Store

Job Summary The position of Retail Associate is responsible for greeting all customers in a friendly and courteous way, selling merchandise, maintaining a neat and tidy store while also assisting customers with all questions and requests. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions Energetically welcome customers and provide a friendly, courteous shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products and escort them to desired merchandise locations Maintain knowledge of store merchandise to answer questions and make recommendations Drives sales through engagement of customers and suggestive selling Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest Operate the register and POS system Manage financial transactions Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records Upsell merchandise at appropriate times Maintain a clean and organized store Perform inventory and assist with stock organization Alerts management of potential security issues All other duties as assigned
