In this dynamic and purpose-driven role, you’ll connect individuals with employment opportunities, build partnerships with local employers, and guide clients toward meaningful, lasting self-sufficiency.If you're passionate about workforce development and thrive on helping people reclaim their lives, this is your chance to make a tangible impact.What You’ll DoPlace clients in employment or vocational training before dischargeVisit work sites, verify employment, and document outcomes per funder requirementsMarket clients to employers and build partnerships with businesses and training centersConduct vocational assessments and provide career counseling within first two weeks of client orientationLead monthly job readiness and job retention workshopsOrganize quarterly job fairs and employer recruitment eventsSupervise job coaches and collaborate with external partners like the Department of LaborMaintain documentation and data collection aligned with quality assurance goalsWhat You NeedBachelor’s degreeMinimum 2 years of experience in job placement, career development, or vocational counselingAt least 1 year of experience in job search and retention programmingFamiliarity with local labor market trends and employer networksStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standardsBilingual proficiency is a plusWhy This Role MattersEmployment is a key part of rebuilding a life.
