Support Engineer: Modern Endpoint Engineer | Intune • AI • Automation
About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, manage and support modern endpoint management across Microsoft and Apple ecosystems with a strong focus on automation, operational excellence, and DevOps-aligned practices. This role blends Intune engineering with automation/AI, CI/CD awareness, and continuous improvement in a multi-customer environment.What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)Microsoft Intune EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations for Windows and mobile devicesLead customer migration projects to Microsoft IntuneBuild, manage, and maintain:Compliance policiesConfiguration profilesEndpoint security policies and baselinesApplication deployments and assignmentsTroubleshoot enrollment, policy, and application delivery issues; perform root-cause analysis and remediationSupport Windows provisioning workflows, including Autopilot-related processesApple Device Management (ABM / ADE / VPP)Support and administer Apple Business Manager (ABM) integrations with Microsoft IntuneManage Apple enrollment workflows, including Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)Support VPP app procurement, assignments, and deployment troubleshootingMaintain and document repeatable enrollment standards and operational procedures for Apple devicesAutomation, DevOps & Operational ExcellenceCreate and maintain automation for common Intune and endpoint management tasksBuild scripts and repeatable processes to reduce manual portal work and improve consistencyApply DevOps principles to endpoint and infrastructure workflows, including:Version controlled scripts and configurationsCI/CD style automation pipelines where appropriateStandardized build, deployment, and configuration practicesBuild, maintain, and monitor configuration standards across customer environmentsImprove operational visibility and standardization through reporting, metrics, and structured outputsCollaborate with peers to test, validate, and continuously improve automation and operational designsAI Awareness & EnablementUse AI tools to improve operations, documentation, troubleshooting, and customer outcomesCollaborate with teams exploring AI driven workflows and automation enhancementsContribute to or support initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, Connex AI, and/or Azure AI FoundryDocumentation, Training & CollaborationProduce internal documentation, runbooks, and customerready guidancePartner with cross-functional teams to support escalations and standardize best practicesProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support and engineering teamsContribute ideas and feedback to improve tooling, workflows, and service deliveryWhat We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM), including migrations, policy creation, app deployment, and troubleshootingSolid understanding of endpoint security concepts and compliance controlsStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiencesDemonstrated ability to document processes and create repeatable operational standardsExperience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, GitHub, CI/CD and/or equivalent) with a mindset for continuous improvementFamiliarity with DevOps concepts such as configuration management, automation pipelines, testing, and version controlAI familiarity: Microsoft 365 Copilot (preferred), Copilot Studio (bonus), ConnexAI (bonus), Azure AI Foundry (bonus), or similar AI platformsInterest in using AI to improve service delivery, documentation quality, and operational efficiencyPreferred QualificationsExperience in a managed services or multi-customer environmentConnectWise Manage / Asio RMM experienceMD-102 CertificationBachelor's DegreePrevious consulting experienceExperience managing Apple devices using Apple Business Manager (ABM) & IntuneWhy Join UsHigh-impact role with ownership over modern endpoint management strategy and executionOpportunity to build automation and operational improvements that scale across environmentsA team culture focused on continuous improvement, standardization, and smart use of emerging tools (including AI)J-18808-Ljbffr
