Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:Heartland Express has an immediate opening for a Mechanic. This is a full-time hourly role in a state of the art repair shop. Heartland operates a late-model fleet of 18-wheel tractors and 53' dry van trailers and operates in all 48 states.Heartland tractors are generally covered under warranty, so shop personnel perform all maintenance that would not be a warranty item.Our shop personnel perform all aspects of preventative maintenance on company tractors and trailers, including but not limited to: oil changes, tires, grease, filters, fluid levels, basic trailer repair, general shop paperwork, DOT inspections, and general shop clean-up.The position offers great stability, a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
