Provide information relative to communication disorders to students,parents, teachers and significant others.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSA. A license by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology;or a license issued by the Teacher Standards and Practice Commission (TSPC) prior to July 1,2016, andHold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech andHearing Association (ASHA); orHas completed the equivalent educational requirements and work experiencenecessary for the certificate; orHas completed the academic program and is acquiring supervised work experience toqualify for the certificateB. A Master's Degree in Speech and Language, Speech-Language Pathology, or CommunicationDisordersC. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on the job travelD. The ability to follow oral and written instructionsE. The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnelfrom diverse cultures and/or backgroundsF. The ability to work harmoniously with othersG. Proficient oral and written communication skills in EnglishH. Proficient in use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to emailand systems applicationsI. Monitor the effectiveness of the interventionK. Implement requirements of Federal and State regulationsL. Maintain records and reports required by District, State, and Federal agenciesM. Cooperate with various agencies in referring and providing appropriate reciprocal servicesN. Analyze and forecast need for servicesO. Provide services either directly or through consultation as listed on the student's IEPP. Write IEP goals and objectives as necessary for the student on an IEP who requires services from an SLPQ. Participate as an effective member of the Student Study TeamR. Collect appropriate student performance data for determining the extent to which student IEP goals and objectives are achievedS. Perform duties and expectations of a Case ManagerT. Partner and collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure IEP is implementedU. Provide instruction and direction to assigned instructional assistants ensuring delivery ofinstructional servicesV.
