The individual's responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager, MS Operations.WhatYou'llDo:Provide financial direction to plant management teamProvide recommendations to improve site performanceLead Monthly/Annual Forecasting/BudgetingEnsure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational, MS Division and Corporate goals;Establish standard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM androutings for cost rollBe a key partner and advisor regarding the plant budget/forecast and all productivity projects;Review/explain variances and how they impact plant performanceProvide Business/Operations Decision SupportProvide timely plant results and drive accountability.Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plant are properly stated and conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserve amountsProvide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employeeWhat We Seek:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financewith 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or cost accounting functionThorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerpointMicrosoft Power BI experience a plusAbility to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environmentProactive, future-looking, positive attitudeStrong communicationskills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:Strong communicationskills;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;Successful business partnership with site, business unit and division leadership through forecast/budget alignment,timelycommunication of financial results/risks/opportunities and adhoc analyses/modeling support;Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification, vetting, and tracking of improvement projects.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providingopportunityto our employees and promote from within.
