Manager, Accounting & CFO Services

Our client is seeking a Manager, Accounting & CFO Services to join their team. This individual will work closely with clients across a variety of industries, serving as a trusted advisor while overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with strong client-facing experience.Key Responsibilities:Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, operations, and industry-specific challengesPrepare and review client write-ups and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisReview and prepare clear, organized working papers and supporting schedulesAdvise clients on transactional and operational accounting mattersAssist with onboarding new clients and implementing accounting processesPrepare KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting packages for clientsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan preparationTrain clients and internal staff on accounting systems and shared software applicationsManage multiple client engagements simultaneously while collaborating with internal teamsBuild strong client relationships and serve as a strategic business partnerContribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA designation required5–7+ years of progressive public accounting or outsourced accounting experiencePrior experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS) or CFO advisory services is a plusSkills & ExperienceStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principlesProven ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, organizational, and client service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environmentTechnology & SoftwareAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Xero, NetSuite, and Sage IntacctExperience with e-commerce, inventory, or SaaS platforms is a plus
