The Facilities Engineer is responsible for maintenance and reliability of plant assets. This position will lead the continuous improvement efforts by promoting best practice maintenance and reliability initiatives. This position also requires experience in installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, or pipe or electrical systems. Visual and auditory skills are required to inspect, test, and detect malfunctions in machines and equipment. Skills to dismantle, repair, clean, and lubricate machinery are necessary. This position is also responsible to maintain pipe systems, hydraulic equipment and physical structures. Knowledge of electrical (3-Phase, 1-Phase and 120V), process controllers, CNC and Servo systems and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting is required. Installing or repairing automated machinery and programmable controllers, setting up and operating machine tools, i.e., drill, lathe, grinder, etc. are also critical skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation and repair equipment and machinery
Detect malfunctions in equipment and machines
Skills to dismantle, repair, clean and lubricate machinery
Maintain pipe systems, hydraulic equipment and machines
Knowledge of electrical (3-phase, 1-phase, and 120V)
Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment, process controllers and CNCs preferred
Setup and operating of machining tools (i.e., drills, lathes, grinders, etc)
o Needs to be a punctual, dependable and conscientious team player
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Education: A high school diploma is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills
Person should be proactive and driven
Ability to read and understand schematics
Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Basic English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehend)
Ability to communicate with co-workers, managers, and supervisor
Basic to intermediate shop math.
Ability to use and read schematics/blueprints/work instructions
Able to work in a demanding fast paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to practice teamwork and be safety oriented in a factory environment.
Work with little or no supervision throughout shift.
Must be able to work occasional overtime to meet operational deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS /Work Environment
This job will be performed in a Manufacturing Environment.
Physical – Must be able to manipulate parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
