Powder Coat Line Worker
JOB SUMMARYThis position's primary function is to hang, process, and inspect parts throughout the powder coat line, ensuring all products meet quality standards before and after the coating process, while packing finished goods, and performing physical tasks in a demanding environment. Responsibilities include:Lifting, hanging, and unhanging parts on a motorized conveyor line, requiring the ability to lift up to 65 lbs.Working in high-temperature conditions, including summer heat reaching 110-115 degrees FahrenheitBlowing out water from parts after the wash cycle and prior to the powder coat processPerforming 100% visual inspection of all products before hanging on the powder coat line, identifying defects such as rust, missing welds, or other issues that may compromise the integrity of the powder coat processPerforming 100% visual inspection of all finished products before placing on skids for packingPacking all finished products on skids according to job-specific requirementsCompleting all job tasks in a timely manner while meeting established production quotasPerforming additional tasks as assigned by management PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANYThis position interacts with shop employees and management. WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONSThis position will work on the warehouse floor and lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and kneeling are required.
