This position plays an important role in supporting healthy landscapes while promoting water conservation through efficient irrigation practices.The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, professional, and eager to learn on the job. Experience with residential and commercial irrigation assembly, troubleshooting, and repair is strongly preferred.Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systemsMap and prepare areas for irrigation system installationDig trenches and install pipes, drip lines, valves, and sprinkler componentsInstall pumps, controllers, and electrical timersProgram and adjust watering schedules based on landscape needs and weather conditionsPerform routine maintenance inspections and system performance checksDiagnose and repair leaks, broken sprinkler heads, wiring faults, and controller issuesTroubleshoot irrigation system malfunctions using specialized testing equipmentAdjust spray patterns and replace worn or damaged componentsMaintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and inventoryProvide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clientsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications 1–3 years of experience in residential and commercial irrigation assembly, troubleshooting, and repair preferredKnowledge of irrigation system components, including PVC piping, valves, controllers, and drip systemsTeam-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow, while also being able to work independentlyStrong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsAbility to bend, kneel, dig, and work in physically demanding outdoor environments for extended periods, including in extreme weather conditionsAbility to safely move heavy equipment and materials
