Substance Use Counselor

Join us as we change the future of addiction healthcare.If you believe in recovery, harm reduction, and member-centered care - this is your place.Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9a-7p ESTSalary: $68,000 - $85,000ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoConduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals' appropriateness for our program.Complete clinical assessments as assigned each dayProvide individual support, as needed, such as crisis intervention, referrals to other resources, liaising with outside parties involved in the member's treatment and coordinating with the Care Navigators.As census increases, you will lead 3-4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.Facilitate group discussions using a "plug and play" approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.Monitor member progress and document outcomes.Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups' mission. QualificationsAn active license or certification: LCSWMinimum two years' leading groups in a SUD setting.High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
