ETL Engineer (Python, SQL)

Employment Type = Contract-to-Hire, M-F 8:30am-5pm ETReporting Mode: 100% remote from anywhere in the United StatesHourly Pay Range: $60-$65.50/hour w2Salary Range when converting permanent: $100,000-$110,000 plus 10% bonusWe’re looking for an ETL Engineer to create data pipelines using Python from APIs, flat files, and other sources and loading into PostgreSQL and Linux environment.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance existing data pipelines, including making code updates to current pipeline loadsDesign and build new ETL pipelines to support new data sources and business requirementsDevelop and maintain SQL-based data models, including creating new tables and leveraging existing tablesDevelop SQL views and proceduresImprove pipeline reliability, performance, and readability by simplifying and standardizing SQL logicPartner with external stakeholders to understand data feeds to create new data pipelinesTroubleshoot data quality issues and pipeline failures, ensuring accurate and timely data deliveryRequired Skills & Experience5+ years data migration/ETL experience.Strong experience in Python (Pandas preferred) and SQL (PostgreSQL or other similar)Bachelor's degreeStrong SQL skills, including complex queries, transformations, data modeling, stored procedures, query analysis, and performance troubleshootingAbility to work with existing legacy pipelines and refactor them into cleaner, more maintainable solutions---------------------------Compensation Statement.
