In this role, you will support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) program, which serves the Department of Veterans Affairs' Corporate Portfolio clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with AngularJS and SQL, demonstrating strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to software development. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful government projects, utilizing your skills to develop, modernize, and enhance critical applications that directly benefit veterans and federal operations.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience, including at least 18 months working specifically with Angular (preferably Angular 2 or higher). Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (version 5.x), TypeScript (version 4.x), Bootstrap (version 5.x), and JQuery (version 3.6.x) is required. Experience with MS SQL Server, including writing stored procedures, understanding SQL queries, creating tables, and managing databases, is essential. Familiarity with Visual Studio (2019-2022), GIT version control, Windows operating systems, and Azure cloud services is also necessary. Additionally, candidates should have working knowledge of C# programming language. Preferred qualifications include experience working with the VA, managing multiple projects simultaneously, supporting program goals, collaborating with project leaders, and familiarity with PowerBI, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, IIS, SSRS, and related technologies. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Angular Developer, your primary responsibilities will include planning system development and deployment activities, ensuring compliance with software standards, and designing intuitive graphical user interfaces tailored to user needs. You will prepare detailed operating instructions, document program development processes, and analyze system capabilities to resolve technical questions related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques. Building add-on modules using application programming languages and providing guidance on AngularJS upgrades or modernization efforts will be part of your role.You will design, develop, test, and implement new features within VA applications, maintaining regular communication with colleagues involved in all phases of development. Troubleshooting bugs, analyzing issues, and implementing fixes will be routine tasks. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of software projects utilizing C# and the latest Angular frameworks. Your role will involve understanding user requirements, analyzing system capabilities, and developing autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs to meet project goals.Ensuring adherence to software standards, applying technical principles and techniques, and contributing to milestone achievements will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will exercise sound judgment within established procedures, review your work for technical accuracy, and support the successful completion of project milestones.
