Full Stack Developer

*About the Role:* We are seeking a skilled *Full Stack Developer* with active TS/SCI clearance to develop secure, cloud-native applications from database schema through backend services and production user interfaces. You will support an existing platform while building pilot solutions, APIs, and custom MVPs in a secure, classified environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * Develop robust Python backends using Django, FastAPI (including async/ASGI) with modern Python 3.13+. * Build production-grade frontends using React, Next.js or equivalent modern frameworks. * Design RESTful APIs, Backend-for-Frontend patterns, and Pydantic-driven validation. * Handle PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data loading. * Manage AWS application deployment and troubleshooting across classified partitions and regions (EKS, Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC, KMS). * Utilize Terraform for infrastructure module development and maintenance. * Integrate authentication using Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or CAC/PIV with secure token handling. * Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure development for STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated environments. *Required Qualifications:* * *Active TS/SCI Clearance* is strictly required. * 5+ years of hands-on software development experience. * Proven production experience with Python (Django/FastAPI) and modern frontend (React/Next.js). * Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment, Terraform, and DevSecOps tools. * Must live in Maryland and be comfortable working onsite in Suitland, MD 2-3 days weekly if required.
