Job descriptionPrinceton Identity has immediate opening available for our full-time Business Development Leader, accountable for achieving North American sales targets across all market segments.We have an established and growing product portfolio that has been deployed around the world, but need your help growing its footprint in the Americas. This position requires an experienced and relentlessly-success-driven sales professional to help close numerous ongoing activities, and establish new leads, partnerships, and strategic relationships. Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:Knowledge and background in the physical security industryExperience selling advanced technology directly from manufacturer to end customerDemonstrated success leading professional business developmentAn impressive record of shortening sales cycles and closing large dealsThe ideal candidate will also exhibit strong strategic orientation and high-level persuasive communication.ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be working closely with the CEO and others to sell our leading technology biometric readers. The position will have the following responsibilities:Develop, refine, and execute sales strategy to achieve and exceed annual product sales targetsEstablish and maintain new channels to the market, and drive deal closureCultivate executive relationships with key customers and partners, drive contract managementContribute to collaborative evolution of product definition, target markets, and product strategiesCoordinate with product management, engineering, finance, and customer service to help define company roadmap, strategy, and growth.Required QualificationsUndergraduate degree in a technology fieldMinimum 15 years of relevant sales and business development experience, with a specific focus on next-generation differentiated technology productsDemonstrated success leading a sales team and owning accountability for aggregated targetsProficient at prospecting and developing new business leads, managing high-level key relationshipsSkilled at negotiation and driving deal closureAbility to quickly learn our existing product line, value proposition, product-market fit, etc. to facilitate successful real and virtual product demonstrationsBased in or near NJ, able to come to the HQ office at least once a weekJob TypeFull-timeMonday-Friday 8:30am-6:30pm, nights and weekends as requiredRequires 25%-50% travelCompensationComprehensive package, including base, incentive, and stock optionsBenefits401(k) / matchingHealth insuranceDental, Vision insuranceHealth savings accountFlexible spending accountPaid time offAbout UsFor two decades, Princeton Identity has manufactured state-of-the-art commercial iris-biometrics for access control, time and attendance, point of sale, and border applications.
