Learn more at irco.com and join us to own your future.Job OverviewThe Saw Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC saws, vertical and horizontal saws, and other shop equipment to cut metal materials according to precise specifications. This role also includes managing the saw area workload based on work orders and production schedules, as well as assisting with inventory organization and material handling.ResponsibilitiesConduct set-ups and run production per schedule or as directed by supervisorDeburr, finish, and assemble material and parts as requiredMeet production goalsAssist Machinist as neededPlan day by studying work orders, drawings, material specifications and scheduleUtilize math concepts of measuring, counting, and reading blueprints, tape measure and calipersMaintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance regularlyOrganize and clean workspace dailyRequirements1 years of experience operating CNC Saw, Vertical and Horizontal Saws and other shop equipment preferredAttention to detail and appreciation for qualityStrong mathematical comprehensionAbility to read tape measure, blueprints, and calipers.Core CompetenciesMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Preferences* Experience with lean manufacturing principles.Travel & Work ArrangementsOn-site position based in Tulsa, OK.No travel required.Must be able to work extended hours as required by management.Pay RangeStarting pay will range between $17.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
