Each event we host is different, so you'll be delivering the perfectly tailored service for your guests - whether that's a wedding, a business meeting, a corporate celebration, or anything in between.Do you want to join one of the best places to work in hospitality?What's the role?On Call Events BartenderWho we are...The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.After launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened Ned's Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location.The Property...Ned's Club Washington DC is a members' club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President's Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces. The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.Reporting into the Events Operations leadership team and as the friendly face of the guest experience you will:Provide outstanding hospitality to our guests, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that The Ned is known forUsing your unrivalled knowledge of beverages, spirits and wine, you'll answer all guests queries and assist during their eventSet up and tear down each event from start to finish, taking care of our one of a kind spaceDeliver the level of service and standards that our event guests anticipate and expectOur events spaces often need flipping quickly between events, so you may need to assist the team with preparing linen, glassware, silver etc for upcoming eventsMaintain a safe and clean environment, protecting our guests, your teammates, and our agency helpers from any possible harmOur events space can be busy Monday to Sunday and has late finishing times, so a degree of flexibility is preferred as shifts will vary.What you can bring to the role:You'll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our events guests to give them an exceptional serviceA big part of this job is supporting teams, so a welcoming personality and ability to guide others is essentialGreat all-round beverage knowledge is an advantage and preferredAble to work quickly and efficiently to service groups of people during eventsWe love people to continuously improve, so if you have the desire to learn and progress then you can take part in loads of learning here at The Ned as part of our monthly learning calendarWhat The Ned can give you:Salary of $14.00/hour plus gratuityMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD InsuranceComplimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opensExciting learning and development programs to help progress your careerExclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel staysPaid time off401k matchingEmployee assistance program - advice and supportReward and recognition initiativesAt The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
