Contracted Student Intern- Office of the Chief of Staff

Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Assist with the application of culturally linguistically appropriate services (CLAS) to key projects.Research CLAS resources.Assist in development and conducting of needs assessments.Review varied sources to establish baseline metrics and develop performance metrics.Assist in development tools and resources for the central office and the field based on results of needs assessments.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with a diverse population.Ability to gather and summarize information, and to write effectively.Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.Period of ServiceMay 26, 2026 through September 04, 2026Additional InformationBenefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.The salary for this position is $19-$27 an hour.Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Days Off: Saturday and SundayThe Department of Mental Health assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities.
