We design, prototype, and research the experiences and interactions that set the direction for Google's emerging products across the spectrum of XR devices.In a nascent and quickly developing category of devices with new user interaction paradigms, the role of Creative Content Lead is critical in shaping creative direction, users’ emerging mental models, and adoption of our products. In this role, you will lead content design strategy across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences, including immersive headsets and glasses with and without displays.For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven bybreakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$274,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .ResponsibilitiesLead creative content design and UX Writing across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences.Develop content design strategy for the full spectrum of XR devices and experiences. Develop deep understanding of user needs and product behaviors and constraints. Partner with UX and cross-functional teams to implement content design, delivering polished, high quality UX writing across the ecosystem.Partner with cross-product areas to create content design for first-party app experiences to bring a consistent voice and approach across the ecosystem. Create XR UX guidelines for voice, tone, and style, and elevate Content Design and UX writing craft. Develop and manage content design and UX writer process and workflows, including string management and translations.
