Facility Services Staff II- 3rd Shift

Job DescriptionFacility Services Staff are responsible for cleaning the interiors and public areas of allbuildings at in and around Biltmore House, Antler Hill Village, and/or other locationsacross the estate. Duties may also include: light maintenance for facilities (e.g.changing light bulbs, etc.); snow removal; emergency response and assistance; andgeneral departmental support. Staff will also coordinate to provide assistance for specialevents and functions, and may be asked to help in other locations as needed.1. Dust, mop, wet mop, and buff all wood/tile/linoleum/concrete/marble floors.2. Vacuum/shampoo carpets and steps3. Change light bulbs inside and outside.4. Clean restrooms with high degree of cleanliness and detail to Biltmore standards.5. Assist with special events, functions, and projects (e.g. Christmas candlelight).6. Respond to power/water outages for report, or as an assistant to management7. Snow removal.8. Some storm cleanup9. Emergency clean up (bodily fluids)10. Dust offices and gift shops11. Constant awareness of safety of self, guests, and co-workers12. Will work primarily during 3rd shift hours.1. Perform very minor maintenance work orders as assigned by management2. Assistance with administration related to area operational activities.3. Store, organize and maintain proper supplies and supply rooms4. Work overtime, or different shift if required by management
