This is a hands-on senior engineering role responsible for cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform automation, security, observability, governance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes, DevOps, cloud security, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) while providing technical leadership across mission-critical cloud initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud environments supporting enterprise production workloadsDesign multi-account AWS Organizations, landing zones, Service Control Policies (SCPs), centralized logging, governance frameworks, and shared services architecturesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK, following enterprise DevOps and GitOps best practicesDesign resilient AWS networking architectures, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Network Load Balancer, and Application Load BalancerImplement enterprise identity and access management using IAM, AWS IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO), permission boundaries, least-privilege access, and secrets managementDesign, deploy, and operate container platforms using Amazon EKS, ECS, and AWS Fargate, integrating Kubernetes, service mesh technologies, and cloud-native networkingManage AWS data platforms including Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Kinesis, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performanceBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to automate infrastructure and application deploymentsImplement enterprise observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracingDrive cloud optimization initiatives focused on performance, availability, security, automation, and FinOps-based cost managementDesign disaster recovery, backup, failover, and business continuity strategies across multi-region AWS deploymentsStrengthen cloud security using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Macie, Config, CloudTrail, AWS KMS, and encryption best practicesDevelop automation tools and operational scripts using Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell to improve operational efficiency and incident responseLead architecture reviews, mentor cloud engineers, establish engineering standards, and provide technical leadership across cloud platform initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline10+ years of professional IT and cloud engineering experience, including 5+ years designing and operating enterprise AWS environmentsExpert knowledge of AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, and CloudFormationExtensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormationStrong experience designing and operating production-scale Amazon EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes environmentsProven expertise building CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure Automation practicesStrong scripting skills using Python, Bash, and preferably Go or PowerShellDeep understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, compliance, and Zero Trust architectureExperience implementing monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practicesExcellent troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and technical leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, or equivalent advanced AWS certificationsExperience managing AWS Organizations, Control Tower, enterprise landing zones, and cloud governance at scaleFamiliarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), eBPF-based observability, and modern Zero Trust networking principlesExperience implementing FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and AWS Well-Architected Framework best practicesExperience supporting regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMPExperience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments integrating AWS with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)How to ApplyWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
