About:Location: Boston areaSalary: $160K-$180K with full benefits package and bonus incentivesPrivate Practice The Role:We are currently looking for a Senior Veterinarian to oversee our state-of-the-art facility located in the Boston area. This position will be working with a few Veterinarians at the facility along with several other staff members. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow into the position of Director of Operations and manage all their facilities. The facility will eventually open 7 days a week so being able to grow a great team of Veterinarians would be ideal. Duties will include all aspects of animal care in a Vet hospital. This is a full-time position with bonus incentives such as profit sharing, options, etc.Responsibilities:Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medicallyCollaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinariansParticipate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your fieldWorking with a Regional Operations Manager and the Hospital Manager to achieve high standards and provide superior patient careAdminister core vaccinations and counsel clients in well petPerform dentalsContribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and petsExcel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution5+ years of veterinarian experience working for a vet hospital.Eligible to obtain Connecticut State Veterinary LicenseThis is a great opportunity for growth for the right candidate.
