Orientation & Mobility Specialist - Lancaster, OH

This opportunity is for an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) to provide direct services in a school setting located in Lancaster, OH. The contract position will begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of May.Responsibilities include:Delivering direct orientation and mobility services to 5-8 students, averaging 2-4 hours per weekProviding consultation related to orientation and mobility needsWriting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs) when applicablePreferred qualifications:Experience as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS)Ability to manage a small caseload efficientlyStrong documentation and communication skills related to IEPs and student assessmentsLocation: Lancaster, OH (school environment)Contract duration: Start immediately, ending end of MayThis role demands a professional who can provide specialized support to visually impaired students, ensuring they receive appropriate orientation and mobility instruction.
