As an Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with injuries or disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow, and possibly the shoulder.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Conduct patient consultations to assess their medical history and current conditionOrder and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scansDevelop and implement treatment plans for Orthopaedic patients, including surgical and non-surgical optionsPerform Orthopaedic surgical procedures on the hand, wrist, elbow, and possibly the shoulderMonitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patientsMedical degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency programBoard certification in Orthopaedic SurgeryOrthopaedic Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity SurgeryValid medical license with the ability to obtain a Colorado licenseExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team environment
