Class A CDL Driver

*POSITION* Hiring a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver. Great Work Environment; Great Work Hours (Monday-Friday, some Saturdays & home at night); Well Maintained Fleet; Competitive Pay and Benefits. *MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES* * Responsible for making deliveries, performing pre/post trip inspection, safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, report to work when scheduled and on time, follow instructions given by leaders upon request and be a team player. * Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. * Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, follow signals from loading crew and check that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. * Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. * Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. * Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* * Must be 21 years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States. *Education Required:* * The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED. *Years of Relevant Work Experience:* * 2 years *Additional Qualifications:* * All candidates must possess an active valid driver’s license and good driving record. * Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen. * Must have the ability to work overtime as required. *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:* * Must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the drive to succeed. * Qualified candidates are self-motivated, responsible, highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment.'
