Field Services Engineer

Successful applicant will be self motivated, responsible, able to think outside of the box with good technical and communication skills who can work independently in remote locations. Exemplary performance in this role is satisfying both Professionally and Monetarily. ResponsibilitiesThis position requires the willingness and ability to travel both Domestic and Internationally for the purposes of installing, terminating, commissioning and testing of various marine electronics systems to include but not limited to: Bridge Navigation electronics(Radar, GPS, Autopilot, Electronic Chart plotting systems, VHF communications Etc.), VSAT systems, Stabilized satellite television antenna systems, All Dynamic Position sensor equipment(Gyro, MRU, DGPS, Wind speed measuring equipment as well as relative position measurement devices), Ship wide CCTV equipment(Cameras, switches, NVRs, client computers, Night vision cameras, etc.), Fuel Monitoring systems and the termination and certification of fiberoptic cabling.QualificationsIn order to qualify the Applicant must have or be able to obtain within 90 days of their On-Hire date, a FCC General Radio Telephone Operators License, Drivers License with Clean Driving History, Valid Pass Port, as well as reliable transportation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Additional Professional Licenses, Manufacturers Specific Training Certificates Will be a consideration in the Hiring process/Starting Pay level evaluation however relevant work experience will be top consideration.
