As work progresses, they identify issues that could impact commissioning or turnover and support documentation compliance. This integrated delivery model provides exposure to owner-side coordination, commissioning interfaces, and installation planning activities that are not typically included in trade-level QA/QC roles.How will contractor performance be measured?:Contractor performance is measured through ongoing QA/QC field observations, review of contractor schedules, compliance of submittals with design standards, responsiveness to RFIs, and readiness of OFCI equipment for installation and commissioning. Role is responsible for overseeing and reporting project progress across scope, schedule, budget, and contractor performance on a weekly basis or as otherwise required. Performance trends and execution risks are documented through daily observations and communicated during OAC, progress, and pre-construction meetings to support Microsoft delivery readiness.Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:Construction Field Execution & QA/QC Oversight — 7+ years Direct experience inspecting work in place, validating against drawings/submittals, managing nonconformances, and enforcing inspection and testing requirements in active construction environments. Safety & High-Risk Activity Management (LOTO, Energy Isolation, OSHA) — 5+ years Hands-on ownership of safety programs, including planning and controlling high-risk work, enforcing compliance, and exercising stop-work authority when required. Project Controls & Construction Coordination (Scheduling, RFIs, Submittals, Change Mgmt) — 5+ years Working knowledge of project lifecycle controls, including schedule tracking, RFI/submittal review, change order support, and coordination across contractors, trades, and stakeholders.
