Entry Level Plumbing Technician

Halco is expanding its Service division and now has an immediate opening for a full-time, year-round Plumbing Technician to help meet our customers' needs. We are seeking out high-energy candidates. That are looking for an entry level position that can lead to a rewarding career. Provided they have a strong mechanical aptitude, exemplary work ethic and a positive "can-do" attitude! The Plumbing Service Technician's primary function is to successfully inspect, install, repair and replace pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, cooling, water, sewer, gas, and drainage systems for our loyal customer base. The candidate will be working side by side directly with a master technician for full training. With the potential to be part of NYSDOL Plumbing Apprenticeship program. Qualifications: Candidates will be expected to: -Be organized, efficient and punctual -Possess a valid NY State drivers license -Have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.+ consistently -Understand how to provide customer service on a level that will both maintain our existing customer base and attract new clientele -Have strong leadership characteristics, along with problem-solving and decision-making skill sets -Possess the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment -Maintain a clean and professional appearance and positive attitude -Be willing to learn, as Halco will provide training to build your skills.
