Process Development Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTION:Develop and improve processes and products through investigation and change application.PRIMARY DUTIES:Develop and manage small to medium size projects and the reporting there of at the direction of the Department Supervisor.Prepare budgets and timelines and assemble meetings on projects assigned.Make recommendation on capital budget projects and research projects.Formulate corrective action reports base on testing and research, recommend design and / or process changes and implement design or process changes as approved.Research new processes, operations and manufacturing equipment at the direction of the department manager.Develop, set-up and test new equipment and processes as deemed appropriate.Use computer and necessary software to write reports. Develop spreadsheet, chart table, graphs to support reports written.Maintain contact and working relations with outside suppliers on projects as assigned.Help train and instruct Associate Engineers, Manufacturing Specialists and Technicians as directed by the Department Supervisor.Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned.EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor Degree in the applied technical area.Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.Knowledge of AX operating system a plus.**This is a salaried exempt, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA**Smoking is permitted in most areas of Zippo workplace facilities, other than certain designated non-smoking areas.
