Technical Program Manager, Cable Harness Systems
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager for Cable Harness Systems, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering requirements and high-stakes production delivery. You will leverage your expertise in project lifecycle management and cross-functional leadership to ensure our critical hardware components meet rigorous performance standards and aggressive launch timelines.
Responsibilities
Direct the end-to-end execution of hardware deliverables, facilitating seamless transitions from procurement through final assembly and test.
Own the technical scope, cost performance, and schedule health for assigned control accounts, ensuring alignment with program-level objectives.
Synthesize complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders, including variance analysis and corrective action planning for Earned Value Management (EVM).
Optimize production capacity by collaborating with scheduling teams to resolve bottlenecks and prioritize hardware builds.
Drive the resolution of technical discrepancies and design issues, empowering engineering teams to maintain momentum on the manufacturing floor.
Maintain and evolve product roadmaps, ensuring design changes are strategically aligned with long-term business goals and technical performance metrics.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline with a strong foundation in cost, risk, and schedule management.
Proven experience leading engineering or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Excel for tracking performance metrics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience tailoring execution methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, to meet specific program constraints.
Deep understanding of satellite systems and subsystem integration.
Active TS/SCI security clearance and familiarity with Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
