Brief DescriptionPosition Overview: ERA seeks motivated and detail-oriented Structural Modeler Interns to join our team. This will be a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience. A successful Structural Modeler intern candidate is a motivated student with strong Revit and conceptual skills with a desire to learn in a professional, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the structural engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives.Assist in the creation and development of accurate and detailed structural models using industry-standard software (i.e. AutoCAD and Revit).Ensure that all structural models adhere to established design standards and guidelines.Conduct quality checks on the models to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.Collaborate with other team members to integrate structural models with other disciplines (i.e. architectural, mechanical, mechanical, etc.).Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to structural models.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in structural modeling.Hours Full-Time non-exempt internship at 40 hours per weekIn – Person Core Office Hours:9:00am-3:00pm Monday- ThursdayFriday Flex – 9:00am-12:00pmRequirementsCurrently pursuing a degree in Architectural Design or related fieldProficient in structural modeling software and understanding of engineering principlesFamiliar with building codes and regulationsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communicator with solid time managementGPA must be 3.0 or higher SummaryAbout Us: ERA Structural Engineering provides full service structural engineering for a broad range of facility types.
