From air combat training to state-of-the-art electronic warfare systems, our technology is deployed by virtually all U.S. military and government agencies around the world.Job SummaryJob ResponsibilitiesCapable of resolving complex issues/problems utilizing comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processesManage the development, and monitor execution, of manufacturing schedulesDevelop budgets and manage activities to accomplish financial objectivesDevelop and recommend short- and long-range objectives, consistent with organization guidelinesCoordinate operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areasEnsure operations conform to the organization’s policies and procedures, values, and federal, state, and local regulationsEstablish, monitor, and ensure customer satisfactionEngage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controllingCoordinate team members recruitment and selection, career development, and performance assessmentDrive continuous improvement through deployment of best practices, such as Lean Six SigmaContinually identify and assess risks and deploy proactive mitigation plansSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend applicable internal or external customer meetingsParticipate on special project teamsSupport and lead new product introduction activitiesMaintain knowledge of current manufacturing and continuous improvement trends in the industry QualificationsJob Responsibilities Part IIBachelor’s degree in engineering, management or related field, or equivalentProficient technical expertise with demonstrated applicationKnowledge and familiarity with standards (ISO, AS, etc)Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, communication and writing skillsTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
