Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a travel Physical Therapist role in Newton, KS at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. This role evaluates assigned patients, develops and implements treatment plans, documents care, supervises discipline-specific therapy services, and participates in professional development and student training. You will follow state practice acts and facility policies while promoting patient and employee safety. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active Kansas state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.Ability to complete clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to clinical education. Preferred QualificationsPrevious travel or per-diem outpatient clinic experience preferred.Experience with performance improvement initiatives and clinical documentation systems preferred.
