This role emphasizes coaching, employee development, and accountability while ensuring production goals for safety, quality, on time delivery, and productivity are met.Educational requirements:Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related fieldWill consider: High school diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent manufacturing experienceSkills and experience:At least two (2) years of manufacturing supervisory experienceExcellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skillsEssential duties:Coach, develop, and engage associates to build skills, ownership, and accountabilityFoster a positive team culture focused on safety, respect, and continuous improvementLead by example and reinforce company values, safety expectations, and work standardsEnsure compliance with all safety rules, environmental regulations, and company policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through strong housekeeping practicesEnsure awareness of and adherence to departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)Align staffing, materials, and priorities to meet daily production goalsProvide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee growthTrain and onboard new employees, reinforcing best practices, quality standards, and safe work methodsAddress performance, attendance, and conduct issues fairly and consistentlyCollaborate with other leaders to improve communication, workflow, and resultsPerform other duties as assignedPhysical demands:Light physical work.Considerable walking and standingWork environment:Climate-controlledmanufacturing environment#LI-Onsite#LI-AS1We are a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
