Direct Support Professional

We are looking for a person who is motivated and engaging to helps those with intellectual disabilities have a great quality of life. Understanding that Autism is a spectrum and all of our individuals fall somewhere on the spectrum. Our job is to encourage our individuals to participation in expanding their world and meet new people based off of interests; such as, Pokemon Go, collecting trading cards, learning about Fire Trucks, How things work in the real world, Ghost Hunting, Church, and other fun activities, This job is what you make it to be. Expanding these individuals interests is what we strive for. and getting them out in the community. Does require some cooking and cleaning of the home by assisting Individuals to participate in the tasks. We are 24/7 awake provider. We are looking for a person with a pretty open availability as we are looking for all shifts in multiple locations. Staff should be open to learning and following directions from Upper Management about ALL Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans. MUST be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
