This role works closely with medical providers, employers, claims professionals, and injured workers to facilitate appropriate treatment, promote recovery, and support safe and effective return-to-work outcomes.Candidates must have hands-on experience managing workers' compensation cases, as this is essential to successfully perform in this position. This is a fully remote position operating in a structured, high volume, fast-paced environment. Success requires strong organization, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining responsiveness, accuracy, and effective communication.ResponsibilitiesManage telephonic case management for workers' compensation claims, including assessment, care coordination, and ongoing case oversightCollaborate with injured workers, healthcare providers, employers, claims representatives, and legal partners to support treatment plans and recovery outcomesEvaluate treatment plans and provide guidance based on clinical knowledge and case-management best practicesFacilitate return-to-work planning and monitor progress toward recovery goalsMaintain frequent telephonic and written communication with all involved parties throughout the life of the claimAdvocate for appropriate and cost-effective care while supporting positive health outcomesMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all case activityIdentify barriers to recovery and implement strategies to improve outcomesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and HIPAA guidelinesManage assigned caseload independently, prioritizing work and adjusting plans as neededRequirementsStrong understanding of workers' compensation processes, case-management practices, and return-to-work coordinationAbility to manage a high volume caseload in a structured, metrics-driven environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive conversationsProficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work effectively in a remote setting using multiple systems and screensDemonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standardsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage competing prioritiesPositive, adaptable mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (Spanish speaking) skills are highly beneficialEducation and LicensesActive Registered Nurse (RN) license requiredOne of the following required: CCM, CDMS, COHN, or CRRNAssociate or bachelor's degree in nursing or a related clinical fieldCompact RN license beneficialAdditional state licenses, including CA, NY, MA, IL, OR, NV, MI, HI, MD, or DC, would be usefulCandidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.Why Join UsAt Acrisure, we're building more than a business, we're building a community where people can grow, thrive, and make an impact.
