Job Title: Construction Manager – Solar & BESS (EPC)Location: Texas (Pre-Construction Phase) based in Houston ? The project location is positioned in a scenic, remote part of New Mexico, offering strong per diem support and a true "build from the ground up" leadership experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead EPC construction execution for utility-scale Solar and BESS projectsCoordinate Superintendents, Foremen, Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliersDrive project schedule, productivity, cost tracking, and overall project controlsReview drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for constructabilityEnsure compliance with OSHA, QA/QC, HSE, and contractual requirementsSupport client reporting, progress tracking, and project invoicingOversee materials, logistics, equipment allocation, and field planningAct as the on-site leader, setting standards for safety, performance, and team cultureRequirements5+ years of construction leadership experience within utility-scale energy or heavy infrastructureStrong electrical background (Solar and/or BESS highly preferred)Proven experience managing field operations and leading multi-disciplinary site teamsExperience working for an EPC contractor delivering large-scale projectsAbility to work in Houston through September before mobilizing to siteWillingness to travel and work on a remote project locationStrong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and cost managementCompensation & Benefits$145,000 base salaryPer diem provided during Houston phase (if outside local area)Full per diem provided on project site at GSA ratesFull benefits packageLong-term pipeline of projects with continued progression opportunitiesThis is a high-impact role for someone who wants to take ownership of a major Solar & BESS build and play a key role in delivering critical energy infrastructure.If you're looking for a position where you can lead from the front, be on site, and deliver meaningful projects — this is it.
