Job Summary
A Program Coordinator Nurse uses nursing values to organize programs. They are a key contact for staff and oversee budgets. Responsibilities include organizing services, resolving issues, and improving patient care.
Essential Functions of the Role
Orchestrating and publicizing programs, including delivering training and continuous learning opportunities for our team.
Acting as a conduit between the team, advisory committee, and facility management, including the marketing team.
Engaging in and coordinating the annual planning and review of programs.
Planning, conducting, and sharing evaluations of our program's efficacy.
Participating in the Advisory Committee and attending all its meetings.
Gathering and processing all results-related data promptly and accurately.
Enforcing ongoing quality improvement initiatives to meet the standards of relevant regulatory bodies.
Handling program-related correspondence and records, ensuring medical records are up-to-date, verifying patient charges, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and evaluating financial summaries.
Handling patient concerns regarding our services, resolving these issues and documenting the resolution process.
Managing medication as per program protocols, when requested by the patient's doctor.
Key Success Factors
You need solid nursing and patient care knowledge, understanding laws, rules, standards, & guidelines.
Your social skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving are crucial for this role.
You must carefully monitor medical conditions and communicate effectively.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Have a minimum of (3) three years professional nursing experience
Highly prefer experience in ER, High Acuity Stroke care
Currently have or can get a BLS certification within 30 days of employment if not already certified.
RN
Highly prefer Quality Improvement Experience, Leadership and high level of MS Office competency
