Administrative Assistant
Our client, a dynamic organization in the public service sector, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an essential part of the office operations, supporting various administrative functions and ensuring smooth daily activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, organization, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Pay Range: $15.00
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm (except holidays)
What's the Job?
Covering the Front Desk and providing excellent customer service to visitors and callers
Tending to customers both by phone and in person, directing them to the appropriate staff members
Attending required training sessions to stay updated on office procedures
Setting up meetings and preparing for office events to ensure successful gatherings
Running miscellaneous errands utilizing a City-issued vehicle to support office needs
Performing basic office duties such as filing, scanning, logging, and answering phone calls, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
What's Needed?
Valid Driver's License is required for errands and transportation
No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
