JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in Indiana seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a well-established team. New fellows are welcome! Position details:1:4 call Inpatient rounding/consults at only one hospital Interest in ERCP/EUS a plusBlock Time for endoscopy procedures In the clinic - 2 endoscopy suites Hospital - 2 endoscopy suites and 1 advanced endoscopy suite Immediate practice with over 30 primary care referring physicians Collaborate with Top Notch ER Physicians and Hospitalists Subspecialty support including a closed ICU with Intensivists Dedicated office and procedure time and support staff to maximize efficiency HOSPITAL:We boast 270 private rooms, advanced technology, and an innovative patient-centered design philosophy. A full continuum of specialized services are available, and we host a team of experienced caregivers in the family-centered Women and Children's Pavilion. We have the longest-running NICU in northwest Indiana onsite, admitting infants of any gestation and weight. C-sections are performed in the delivery unit for convenience and safety of patients. Skin-to-skin delivery is offered in the C-Section suite. Our inpatient and ambulatory programs are accredited by Joint Commission and continue to be recognized nationally in multiple areas including award winning centers of excellence by American Heart Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and the Leapfrog Group on quality and clinical safety practices; HealthGrades, the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and most recently, became the first in Indiana to receive full Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation status from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), an Institute of the American College of Cardiology.
